Caransebeº, located in the south-west of Romania in a region with an old industrial tradition, began its productive activity in June 1971. Beginning with the year 2004, is Private Company, being part of the GRUP SCR (The Romanian Trade Companies).
OBJECT OF ACTIVITY
- bogies and spare parts for all types of electric locomotives for domestic and foreign market;
- bogies for all types of wagons, tramways and undergrounds;
- bogies for suburban electric frames
- overhauls for all kind of bogies.
The gauge of the manufactured products: 1435 and 1524 mm with the possibility for 1000 up to 1600 mm.
- steel structures for industrial constructions such as:
- industrial halls composed of columns, runaway girders, truss and bracings;
- industrial constructions: cement works, metallurgical works, refineries, electric power stations composed of strength structures, caissons, floors, stairs and industrial platforms, foot bridges, bunkers;
- steel structures for steam boilers, composed of caissons (columns, beams), supporting floors, beams, collar beams;
- welded assemblies: electric motor cases, reduction gear cases, containers.
- Hydraulic Microtubines:
- Standard Horizontal Helicoidal Hydromicroturbines, EOS type, for falls from 1 to 23 meters and water flows from 0,2 to 10 m3/s;
-Horizontal Francis Hydromicroturbines, FO type, for falls from 8 to 125 meters and flow from 0,1 to 4 m3/s;
- Vertical Kaplan Hydroturbines, KVB type, with a power between 2,25 and 8,4 MW;
- Hydromechanical equipments: flat valves, cofferdams, grates and others;
- Welded assemblies: cases and base plates for generators with a power between 0,2 MW and 10 MW.
